The following poem is dedicated in loving memory of my animal companions and their friends along the way, honouring their time upon this earth and their beautiful souls. To the tiny beings with a gentle heart, whom I love and miss dearly.
Precious
So sweet and smitten, little paw mittens,
dinky chin and cutesy button nose.
A furry cloud of cuddled love,
melts away all of my woes.

Velvet-feathered angel,
fluffy cheeks and sculpted wings,
enamoured by the brightest eyes,
a warmth my angel brings.

My loveable, bonny bundle,
sleepy-eyed yet gently peeping,
my playful, adorable, dearest friend -
to snuggle while you are sleeping.

Devoted to this tiny being,
inquisitive and content,
scampering along beside me,
my companion - heaven sent.

Soft, sentient little soul,
I love the things you do,
my innocent, impish darling,
I love and cherish you.
